Expanding the Circle Workshop (Winter/Spring 2023)

Description

If those who are advancing human dignity wish to expand their influence, then assuming roles as global leaders and public intellectuals are paths toward doing so.

These roles need not be publicly prominent, but they should try to expand our influence beyond our current respective circles. I propose a two-part, limited enrollment workshop that (1) defines and examines global leadership and public intellectual work; and (2) invites participants to develop ways to engage in such work on a broader scale. Workshop materials will cover topics such as global leadership, servant leadership, public intellectualism, and intellectual activism.
